Professional betting bank size for Bf Bot Manager automated betting

This post is in response to a user asking how big a bank they need to be a professional bettor, and how much startup costs it would take with the Bf Bot Manager software for automated betting on Betfair.

This is a conservative staking, low profit estimation of what 4 of my best systems together may do over the next 12 months based on my actual results (which is in addition to backtested results on historical statistics.)

To aim for an average of 1,000 GBP profit per month after costs, you would need a 7,500 GBP starting bank and also need to pay 4,008 GBP up front in subscription fees to Bf Bot Manager, a VPS provider, InPlayTrading, Betaminic and me. So that would be 11,508 GBP to start. The aim would be to make 12,000 GBP over the next 12 months. Those numbers are with the system underperforming and making 19 point profit per month. If it performed to copy its long-term trend of 49 points per month. then it could even reach 3,600 GBP per month and 40,000 GBP for the year. That is an example of what a professional betting system might look like. But I would not recommend people to make betting their sole income and just use it as one of several sources of income. Betting is a big risk, even using big data to make smarter long-term plans.
