Another big loss, but this time it almost all came from the HedgerPro Bots. It seems each strategy takes turns in having a nightmare.
This month I am still feeling pretty positive though because the MH Forex bots had a great month of +11% with no volatility. I feel like this is my new number one recommendation. Free to start. No monthly subscription fees. No big drawdowns. Steady growth. Low minimum entry level of 100 EUR. It should be the first system on anyone’s portfolio list.
I plan to reduce all my sports bots to 1k percentage Whitaker banks with compounding profits and let them compete with each other using the same 5-year plan I have for the Forex bots.
BetSoccerPro’s new cloud bot has also had a great month with +14 points for me and +20 points for another user who was had his account setup a bit before me. The fact that this is also a fully online cloud-bot service with no need for software downloads makes this a very easy system to use. The site owners can log what everyone is betting, and they released a screenshot showing that all users combined made +13k profit in one day on 14 bets. Sounds like their system can cope with many people betting on the same selection.
The Betaminic back bots have done well again with +6 points for the combined set, and now I have them separated into separate % bots I am going to let them run and wait for them to increase stakes themselves if they do well. The remaining five Betaminic lay bots also posted a profit of +4.6 points to suggest they might not be done yet.
The GK Goal Knowledge bots Set 9 posted a +25 points profit after a few bad months. They live to fight another day.
MyBSG Draw bots had another losing month with -8.4 points. They will also get converted to 1k% bank bots.
The new DB Over 1.5 Goals system bots had a losing first month with -9 points. It is their first losing month, so it may just be natural variance. There are 13 bots in this group, so I am keeping the current staking plans.

With the BFBM Bet History Explorer we will be able to do more with our bet history. And the more data we have, the more we can do.
One helpful user from this Reddit conversation strongly suggests using the BSP column to analyse your betting strategies.
His main point is that your average odds column should be beating the BSP (Betfair Start Price) column long term to make profit.
“Betting for years, as far as I know, I just found out about bsp column. 😀 Thats the most important thing. It’s still a start tho.
Don’t even touch anything that bsp>avg matched odds, for backing. Opposite for laying. No matter how much data and profit you have. Betfair prices are extremely fair. No way to be profitable in long term if you ignore prices. You might have backtested strategy with nice roi over a ton of bets, but if you don’t know what the prices were at that time, you are doing nothing. Maybe there was value, but markets adjust very fast and they are no longer profitable.
Find something where bsp<avg matched. Run for ~500 bets (depends on the odds) then ask Grok to calculate you p-value. If it’s <0.05 then you are good. Repeat after any 1-200 bets, because market will shift on some moment. You should shift/adjust accordingly.”
I also recommend you add the country column so that AUS and NZ market commission can be calculated correctly.
Andy recommends you add all the columns! Gather all the data you can now, because you never know if you will wish you had it later.

2.1 Why are you so confident in the forex trading bots?
Why do you think the forex bots are going to be successful whereas there is obvious doubt about the football?
The reason I think the forex bots are going to be successful is that the bots we are using have 7 months of data, with 6 of those months being in profit.
This data is independently verified by two tracking sites, fxblue and myfxbook.

Secondly, the actual upward trend of the bots is fairly smooth with one major drop in the first month from a bot that is no longer included in the set.
That is nice smooth progress I don’t usually see with betting bots.

Thirdly, there is no liquidity worry. With football bots, even if they do work well, eventually there is a worry of a liquidity issue with larger amounts. If we let the bank grow to 100,000 and place 1,000-2.000 bets on 2nd division Czech teams to draw a HT, it won’t get matched at good odds. We would need to work out other ways to make it work, like paying a programmer to make an automated betting bot for Pinnacle (PS3838). With these financial bots, the liquidity is in the millions and we have no worries.
Fourth, the financial bots are betting on the same events again and again and again. There are no team sheet changes, manager changes, promotion or relegation, Tuesday nights or Sunday kick-offs. It is all currency-to-currency pairs or gold-to-currency pairs. It is like you can bet on the same fixture, Man Utd at home to Chelsea, everyday of the week and you have the data for that fixture going back years. There are a lot fewer unknowns in that sense. If the bots have worked from running everyday for 7 months, then that gives me a lot of confidence.
Fifth, Martin has also been running these bots with the same settings on Vantage, and there we have 20 months of data. 16 of 20 months are in profit.

The growth chart shows 2 big drops, but even with them both the Vantage set of bots and the Pure Market bots show the same 5% average profit per month.

With the betting bots, there is always the fear that they were just on a lucky run, or that too many people following will squeeze out the value on the exchange, or that it won’t work for larger amounts, or that the trend that was working will stop working as teams and players change. In addition, even if bots do work, then there is the bank management side and a lot more volatility with banks going +/-50% in a month. With the financial bot results, I have not seen any big jumps up or down yet, and we can see from history the biggest was -20%.
This is why I have more confidence in the forex bots at the moment.
The only football bots that come close to this would be the Betaminic bots, which also have lots of data (backtested to 2012 and real results data since each strategy was shared). And these are at the lowest market odds (Pinnacle) which have high liquidity on Asian Bookmakers where you can put 1,000s if needed. These results have also been verified on 3rd party site (TippingSports). My BSG bots, and the other bots I use have been having a poor time, so these forex bots have also made me think more about putting more faith into the Betaminic bots again due to the level of data behind them.

A losing month again for the BSG bots. 3 months in a row now!

I have set up some 1k% bots to see if they can be lucky lottery tickets for me, but a poor start.
Whitaker LC % separate bots
My active public BSG bot set for this month is this set of 3.
This month I am re-adding the A2.1 bot (FT Draw, pre-match bet).
The 1k bank is split between these 3 bots.
The target is +60% in the next 5 months.
It is NLC for public users, but I am using a % version of 1k banks each and just letting them run.
This bot set is based on my long term test bots.
Whitaker staking 100 GBP bank bots
A2.1 +90% in 5 months (FT Draw, pre-match bet) 1,979 markets of data
A2.3 +19% in 5 months (FT Draw, 10m in-play bet) 1,032 markets of data
A7.2 +72% in 5 months (HT Draw, pre-match bet) 1,257 markets of data
The target based on this is +60% in the next 5 months.
Level Stakes 1 GBP original test bots
A2.1 +206 units in 40 months (FT Draw, pre-match bet) 20,526 markets of data. 1% ROI on level stakes but Whitaker staking makes it meaningful for a 100 point bank.
A2.3 +85 units in 11 months (FT Draw, 10m in-play bet) 2,063 markets of data 4% ROI. A good ROI but recent months have not been good. The long term data is still positive for this.
A7.2 +83 units in 25 months (HT Draw, pre-match bet) 4,489 markets of data 1.8% ROI on level stakes but Whitaker staking makes it meaningful for a 100 point bank.
I think the logic here should be to spread the allotted bank over the bots that show profit.
This could be 1 GBP level stakes or Whitaker staking and my personal preference is Whitaker staking.
I feel that these bots also have good and bad runs, (possible from trends in stages of the season, or to do with a wide variety of Betfair Exchange participants entering and exiting certain markets with their own betting bots and systems) and I think that finding a way to ride those waves might also be a good method to try out.
For this reason, recently, for creating my own bots, I have shifted to a concept of:
1. 1 GBP level stakes or 100 GBP Whitaker stakes test bots in simulation mode. If it is in profit after 1,000 markets, then promote it.
2. Run real mode bots with 100 GBP Whitaker percentage banks. If the bot drops to -50% of the starting bank, stop it. If it makes profit, let it build itself from 100 to 200 to 400 to 800. Winning bots promote themselves, losing bots demote themselves.
3. If it reaches 1,000 markets in real mode and is in profit, then consider force promoting it to a 1k% Whitaker bank, and then let that run until it doubles, withdraw the starting bank and play with the winnings. Let that bot grow to 10k and then withdraw a monthly income from it.
In essence, I want to let the bots run themselves instead of me having to pay attention to them and manually choose when to increase or decrease their stakes month by month. The aim of my betting system is automation, and I feel like I spend a ridiculous amount of time on these bots. I want to set up bots, let them run, and have them promote and demote themselves. I know percentage staking opens up the very real risk of just betting more on eventual losers after statistically normal winning runs. But the forex bots I am following now seem to be working brilliantly, and I like the idea of lining up percentage bank lottery tickets that I only need one of them to go on a really strong run to reach my profit targets.
So, ultimately, I think I will let the top bots run as percentage Whitaker bots, but in test mode, I want to add some form or competition filters to see if I can reduce the volatility and maybe increase ROI.
BUT, with the current target of this being a doubt filled +60% in 5 months for the BSG bots, and the Forex bots a much more confident +70% in 12 months with a max drawdown of -20% in 8 months (and -26% in 21 months on another trading platform), then I think my next deposit should be in those forex bots rather than my sports betting bots! And I strongly recommend that to you, too.
I am still going to keep trying to improve my BSG bots though.
7 GK Goal Knowledge System Results:
4.6% per month average (6 of 10 months in profit)
The previous Set 9 managed to make a profit of +237 GBP this month, and that was mainly driven by the GK05.34.01 bot.

The current public set is Set 11 and this is again based on which bots have the best long term results.
We see a return from GK05.06 and GK23.01 that we have used before.
There is a new BTTS bot added in that has had good results, too.

The thing I really love about Betaminic is actually the research process. It is fun for me to look at all the data, the snapshots I make myself and the online database with its charts and monthly results, and then to make my own strategies with its filters and historical odds going back to 2012. The bots are doing very well. I am pleased with how they have gone so far, so I have deposited a bit more into my account.
3 out of 3 months in profit for me, and 7 out of 8 months in profit on the tracking website.
The tracking website is showing +5.8% for April and +13.4% for May so far.
The profit chart for the bots has seen a jump recently as more people enter and the size of profits increase.

These bots are run on a 70-30 profit share where you keep 70%.
You only pay the profit share on new profit.
So if you are making new profit, and it makes 4.6% in a month, then you get 70% of 4.6% which is 3.22%.
But when you are in recovery from a losing run, you get the full 4.6% average profit until you get back to your previous high or (high watermark level). (I learned a new word in financial trading this week, “high watermark” which means your previous profit high.)

The longer running set of x8 HedgerPro strategies finally had a big losing month with –53 points. Despite this, the long term average remains +16 points per month.
In the same month, the separate Portfolio Bet set also had a losing month of -58 points. And that brings its average to -4 points per month. I have given that set a good 6 months, but I will stop it here and just continue with just the x8 set of strategies and convert them to separate 1k% WS bots with stop losses of -50%.

This means you don’t need to setup and run any software on your PC or VPS anymore.

I was a bit late setting mine up, but got it running with 2 GBP level stakes where it made 35 bets and won 9.86 GBP, which is an ROI of +14% Very nice.

BetSoccerPro also has a Telegram community channel for subscribers and there are lots of people on there getting excited, posting screenshots of their winnings (and complaining if they didn’t get the same odds as another user.)

18 1-to-1 Online Sessions
1-to-1 online sessions can be done in two ways:
A) Using Google Meet to screenshare your screen with me. I can then instruct you on how to edit your bots. I can also screenshare to show you things on my PC. This is often the better choice for learning the software since you have to click everything yourself.
B) Using TeamViewer where I am able to take control of your desktop and make edits for you in BFBM, or to check settings quickly without having to explain each step. This is often the better choice if you want me to troubleshoot or edit something on your PC as fast and smoothly as possible.
Price
1-to-1 sessions cost £60 for 60 minutes.
(There is a +£10 fee for every 10 minute period of extra time over the initial 60 minutes.)

You can read the BSG website guides, watch my videos and read the BFBM manual to understand and make any bots you want yourself. My bot sets can be really quite complicated and need quite a lot of ongoing support to explain and answer questions about it if you don’t want to use them as they are. There is a chance to make many mistakes with it if edited without guidance, so for that level of support, please become a BSG-BFBM IT Support Subscriber.
So non-BSG subscribers can get the bot set with default settings, then read my newsletters, read my blog posts, watch my videos, read the BFBM manual and edit the bots yourself based on your understanding of what is best.

20 Key Advice
- Use Whitaker Staking when possible. (NLC ELS Multiplier x5 /Bet Number 1k)
- You can use a shared bank for strategies betting on different selections that use Whitaker Staking. (But all betting includes a chance of bankruptcy.)
- Use separate banks or split banks for strategies betting on the same selections that use Whitaker Staking. (Or only bet once on a selection.)
- Use separate banks for strategies using Progressive or Recovery staking.
- Always have small 100 GBP bank tracker bots running at the same time for all your strategies in case you change/edit your larger stake bots. This will give you the most important data to refer to and judge strategies in the long term.
- Research strategies carefully but then stick with your chosen backtested strategies until each strategy hits 1,000 bets. Anything less than that is not giving the backtested strategies a chance to repeat their trend.
- Make a plan and stick to it. Plan your edit/exit points. Plan when to withdraw profit and pay costs. Plan when to stop a system. Plan when and how you will increase stakes. Plan your review points.
- Don’t change stakes mid-plan. Don’t increase stakes after a winning run. Don’t decrease stakes after a losing run.
- If you change stakes, make a new bot. Don’t mix the data.
- Don’t stop/start bots after losing/winning runs. Let them run constantly with your designated staking plan.
- For Betaminic strategies, use strategies that have 500+ bets in their base strategy Since Shared or Since Created period that prove their filters found a working trend.
- For Betaminic strategies, track them individually. Don’t treat them as a group. Just because one strategy does not work does not mean they all don’t work.
- For BFBM autobots, run test bots with 100 Whitaker banks until they clear 500 markets. Don’t increase stakes too quickly. Increase stakes on the bots with good results. If you have multiple bots betting on the same selection, choose the bot with the best results, or divide the bank among several bots betting on the same selection in a market.
